Frequently Asked Questions

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The entire extraction happens in your browser. Your PDF never leaves your device.

How accurate is the table detection?

Heuristic row / column clustering works very well for PDFs originally exported from spreadsheets or database reports. Messy free-form PDFs may need manual cleanup after.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

Not in V1. Scanned PDFs are images without a text layer. Run OCR first (our PDF editor includes it), then convert.

Does each PDF page become its own sheet?

Yes. One XLSX sheet per PDF page.
